On 28 and 29 September 2026, the Speinshart Scientific Center for AI and SuperTech will once again bring together professors from Bavarian universities and universities of applied sciences for the interdisciplinary research seminar “Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models (NLP & LLMs)”. The seminar will focus on current research, academic exchange, and the development of new synergies and collaborative research activities.
Building on the successful events held in 2024 and 2025, the seminar is deliberately designed as a research-oriented, thematically open format. In addition to lightning talks and collaborative working sessions, the programme will address strategies for developing proprietary LLMs and foundation models in the context of European AI sovereignty, as well as an industry keynote on Agentic AI & NLP by Thomas Stadelmann (Deepset GmbH). The distinctive retreat atmosphere of Kloster Speinshart is intended to provide space for in-depth discussions and to foster new collaborations extending beyond the event itself.
