The meeting will assemble experts from\u00a0FAU Erlangen\u2013Nuremberg, the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH), the University of Wuppertal, and Leibniz University Hannover. Their complementary expertise spans applied mathematics, structural optimisation, lightweight engineering, nonlinear mechanics, uncertainty quantification, and AI-supported design methodologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Topology optimisation has become one of the key technologies for developing highly efficient structures in fields such as\u00a0automotive engineering, aerospace, robotics, and advanced manufacturing.
