However, the currently available accommodation \u2013 which limits the number of participants to just 22 \u2013 has become a clear bottleneck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To enable further development of the SSC, the Abbey \u2013 in its role as our partner and landlord \u2013 is planning a major investment in the future: A new, modern building will provide 45 additional guest rooms, a dedicated dining hall, and \u2013 at its core \u2013 a large multifunctional atrium to serve as a lecture hall, event venue, and meeting space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new building will also serve as the&nbsp;<strong>main entrance<\/strong>&nbsp;to the SSC and welcome guests arriving in Speinshart. For the planning and implementation, the renowned architecture firm&nbsp;<strong>Br\u00fcckner &amp; Br\u00fcckner<\/strong>&nbsp;was commissioned \u2013 a team that has proven time and again how heritage preservation and modern architectural language can be brought together in harmony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"883\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/speinshart.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/SSC_Home_historischer_Plan-883x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-737\" srcset=\"https:\/\/speinshart.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/SSC_Home_historischer_Plan-883x1024.jpg 883w, https:\/\/speinshart.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/SSC_Home_historischer_Plan-259x300.jpg 259w, https:\/\/speinshart.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/SSC_Home_historischer_Plan-768x891.jpg 768w, https:\/\/speinshart.ai\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/SSC_Home_historischer_Plan.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 883px) 100vw, 883px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In Speinshart as well, the new structure will deliberately take a&nbsp;<strong>modest and restrained approach<\/strong>, ensuring the historic village view remains undisturbed. On the contrary: Elements from the 1970s will be removed and replaced with new structures that take inspiration in form and design from the&nbsp;<strong>Baroque ideal plan<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 a comprehensive expansion plan drawn up in the 18th century that was never fully realized.
