Within FORAnGen, this approach is being leveraged to address one of today\u2019s most pressing challenges: reducing the energy and resource consumption of our society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The consortium focuses on enabling the development of products that are not only energy- and resource-efficient, but also robust and resilient under varying conditions. By extending generative design to include manufacturing assurance and sustainability assessment, FORAnGen is taking an important step toward real-world industrial application.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The collaboration brings together strong academic partners:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">University of Bayreuth and Technical University of Munich contribute expertise in requirements engineering and software integration, while FAU Erlangen\u2013Nuremberg and Fraunhofer IGCV focus on manufacturing-oriented implementation and process reliability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Together, the consortium is developing a holistic approach to sustainable product development\u2014helping companies create high-performance products while reducing their ecological footprint.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It was a great pleasure for us to welcome FORAnGen!
