From 14 to 17 July, the Speinshart Scientific Center will host the BioFairNet Green Information Factory Modelling Retreat, bringing together an international consortium of researchers and innovation partners working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, circular economy, and sustainable industrial transformation.
The retreat is part of the EU-funded BioFairNet project, which aims to accelerate the transition towards a fair and sustainable bio-circular economy. By combining cutting-edge AI methods with stakeholder-driven co-creation, the project develops digital tools that support regions and industries – particularly agriculture and mining – in reducing greenhouse gas emissions while promoting social inclusion and economic resilience.
Researchers from universities, research institutions, and industry across Europe will collaborate on innovative approaches to digital cooperation, hybrid AI models, and sustainable value chains. The workshop provides a dedicated environment for interdisciplinary exchange, strategic planning, and the further development of practical solutions for Europe’s green transition.
The Speinshart Scientific Center is pleased to welcome participants from Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, France, and other European partner institutions and looks forward to fostering scientific dialogue in support of a more sustainable future.
